Some travel companions make the road considerably more expensive.

Bad Company follows one weary wanderer who appears to have acquired three ravens and several new problems. One steals his hat. Another makes off with the coin purse. The third has simply decided his shoulder belongs to it now. None of them seem particularly concerned about his opinion.

Look closer and the joke gets darker. Along the bottom, human footprints travel beside raven tracks until the human prints simply disappear. Maybe he eventually found better company. Maybe the ravens did.

Created in the WOODCUT™ style of Hard Mode IRL, the design draws from medieval travel tales, old folklore, and antique illustrated broadsides. Deep indigo, weathered ivory, and rust-orange details give it the character of a strange warning discovered in an old roadside inn.
