Every town has one. The stranger who arrives without explanation, keeps mostly to himself, and immediately becomes the subject of an investigation conducted by people with absolutely no authority to conduct one.

Beware the Stranger turns suspicion of the unknown into a darkly funny piece of old-world folklore. A mysterious traveler stands patiently while an overzealous collection of investigators inspects, measures, observes, and generally tries to determine what exactly is wrong with him. The answer may be nothing.

Rendered like a forgotten Victorian warning broadside, the design surrounds its unfortunate stranger with watchful eyes, magnifying glasses, rulers, keys, and question marks. Deep forest green, aged ivory, and faded crimson give it the character of an artifact from a town where curiosity crossed the line into paranoia several generations ago.
