The king is laughing. The noble is laughing. The jester on the ground appears to be the joke. Meanwhile, the enormous stone gargoyle behind them seems to know something they don’t.

LAST LAUGH turns an old court spectacle into a reminder that humiliation, status, and victory have a funny way of changing places. Today’s fool may simply be the only person in the room who understands what’s coming.

Rendered like a forgotten medieval broadside, the design surrounds its scene with crowns, bells, ribbons, theatrical masks, and skulls. Comedy slowly becomes mortality around the border while the gargoyle quietly enjoys the show.
