Ours got promoted.

Every grand institution has its traditions. The banners. The throne. The ceremonies. And, apparently, the questionable decision to put the court fool in charge.

Every Court Has a Fool turns an old piece of wisdom into a beautifully cynical observation about hierarchy, ambition, and the strange people who somehow keep failing upward. An empty throne holds the evidence of the promotion, while a watchful raven, royal banners, scattered documents, and an abandoned jester’s cap suggest that someone has recently received a deeply undeserved change in title.

Created in the ornate spirit of RELICWORK™, the design combines elaborate engraved linework, heraldic symbolism, antique banners, and a richly detailed throne-room composition. A restrained palette of aged cream, charcoal, antique gold, and deep red gives it the character of an old political broadside or forgotten royal satire.
